		<description>I definitely regret not doing any work placement/work experience while still at uni. I had friends in my year that did pretty much the same thing - took a work placement subject and ended up with full time positions with the company at the end of it. While I finished my 5 years of study with only a piece of paper to prove my worth, they had the advantage of

	&lt;li&gt;#1 - Having contacts within a company &amp;&lt;/li&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;#2 - Some real world experience in the industry.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ol&gt;

The University for the &quot;&lt;em&gt;Real World&lt;/em&gt;&quot; should make it a compulsory part of any course. Like you said, it&#039;s a win-win situation. Employers get work done for free and the student walks away with at the very least some industry experience and in your case a job.</description>
