$1,400 raised in Bridge to Brisbane

Along with 45,000 other people, Bluewire Media team members ran, walked and talked the 10km Bridge to Brisbane fun run.

Out of the Bluewire runners, Stuart Bowden took the 2009 honours in a record (Bluewire) time of 37:30 mins and was followed in by David Darbyshire (50:30 mins) and Sam Sargent (55:00mins). New recruit Montse Balbuena also finished her first Bridge to Brisbane!

Last year’s ’1st across the line’  Cleighton Clark was hindered by injury so he cruised the course this year alongside myself, Julia Croft and Dave Hately.

In total $1,400 was raised for the sick kids at Royal Children’s Hospital.

“Every year the Royal Children’s Hospital sees over 30,000 sick kids and we rely on corporate groups for continual funding to care for these kids.  It’s all possible thanks to generous companies like Bluewire Media who raised $1,400.00 through the Bridge to Brissy fun run!

This money goes to ground breaking research leading to faster diagnoses, better treatments and ultimately cures.  Thank you Bluewire Media!”
