Adam Franklin
Marketing Manager
Adam Franklin co-founded Bluewire Media in 2005 after graduating university and travelling the world for two years.
Adam's focus is on Bluewire's own marketing and business development. Adam is a conference speaker & covers topics including web strategy, social media, email marketing & SEO. He's published many articles in the digital community and is a regular blogger and tweeter (@Franklin_Adam).
Adam is an active member of the Brisbane Advertising Association & together with Toby was named in the 2009 Hot 30 Under 30 list of young entrepreneurs.
Toby Jenkins
General Manager
Toby Jenkins co-founded Bluewire Media in 2005 after a professional water polo career that culminated in him representing Australia at the Athens Olympics.
Toby keeps on top of Bluewire Media's finances and consults on internet strategy and business processes. Toby is a popular keynote speaker and MC at corporate, sporting and school functions, has been interviewed on Nova 106.9 and Brisbane Extra and has spoken at national conference ad:tech.
Toby is also on the board of Queensland Water Polo Inc. and Queensland Olympic Council & was named in the 2009 Hot 30 Under 30 list of young entrepreneurs.
Angela Brown
Team Support
Angela Brown is central to nearly everything at Bluewire Media. Ange's Team Support role covers being the quality manager, resource co-ordinator, sales co-ordinator as well as being responsible for project costing, invoicing, process refinement and customer service.
Previously, Ange managed an office of 30 people, so her experience and friendly nature make her a valued member of the team. You’ll most likely speak with Ange when you call the office.
Jane Sadler
Accounts
Jane Sadler is Bluewire Media’s bookkeeper and looks after the company accounts & pay roll. Jane’s experience working in a Big Four bank is extremely valuable in her role.
Jane has a young family and is also one of the founders of Precious Premmies – a charity that raises money for premmie babies.
Sarah Hyne
Interactive Web Designer
Sarah Hyne is Bluewire Media’s lead digital creative. Website usability, interaction design & visual design are the areas in which Sarah excels. She’s also an active member of AGDA & IxDA.
She has worked in big London agencies and studied in Sweden but is still a local Brisbane girl at heart! As a passion project, Sarah also volunteers some of her time to work at MAP magazine.
Lesley Hays
Web Developer
Lesley Hays has matured to become Bluewire Media’s head website developer. Lesley is a knowledgeable digital consultant and experienced web designer and her keen eye for detail is matched by her ability to lead large web design projects. Lesley also attends regular IxDA events and is a graduate from QUT's Communications Design.
Lesley also enjoys camping in the great outdoors and relaxing in Byron Bay.
Nic Peck
Web Developer
Nic Peck is a professional website developer who looks after all the updates and support requests that come through. Nic is friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful so you know you'll be in safe hands.
Nic is from Brisbane and joined the team having completed his web design work experience with Bluewire Media. Nick enjoys experimenting with digital media and interaction design and has been actively involved with his local church group for many years.
Sam Sargent
Web developer
Sam Sargent is another Brisbane web developer who has graduated from QUT with a double degree in I.T & Communications Design. Sam is involved in managing many web design projects with Bluewire Media.
Sam also loves to go snowboarding and catch up with old friends and family in Maryborough.
Matt Luscombe
Web Developer
Matt Luscombe is a talented Brisbane web designer and has excellent understanding of web usability. As a university student, he was in the team that won the first Bluewire Media Web Design Prize at QUT in 2007.
Matt likes to return to the UK to visit his family and also enjoys music production and cycling.
Jacque Prior
Web Designer
Jacque Prior is an impressive web designer with a very proactive nature and a growing portfolio of commercial projects. Jac is another designer from the QUT Creative Industries course.
Graphic design and photography are personal passions of Jacque's and she plays many sports but enjoys competitive hockey the most.
Sarah McVeigh
Copywriter
Sarah McVeigh loves to write – whether it’s web copy, email newsletters, blog articles or search optimisation! In her personal time, Sarah runs her own clothing label and is also a junior radio announcer at 4ZzZ. As a QUT journalism student, Sarah’s claim to fame was securing an interview with influential lawyer Noel Pearson.
Gerald Chen
Usability Designer
Gerald Chen is an interaction designer and usability expert specialising in information architecture, wireframes & prototyping. Gerald has a great understanding of how people find information and how they engage with a website.
Joel Flom
Web Usability Consultant
Joel Flom is a customer experience expert and is world renowned in the fields of usability, interaction design (IxD), user experience (UX), information architecture (IA) and content strategy. Joel runs his own Brisbane-based user experience design consultancy Elavision & is a regular partner with Bluewire Media.
Joel speaks internationally on usability, founded the Brisbane chapter of Interaction Design Association IxDA & loves nothing more than mountain biking with his young family.
