Subj: [100th podcast ep] + early bird tix to podcast summit.
Toby and I just released the 100th episode of our podcast Web Marketing That Works, here’s all 100 of them.
We are pretty proud of that milestone, especially since it has been in Australian iTunes’ What’s Hot for much of that time. I must say that the time has really flown and it’s been a fun journey. I can remember recording our very first episode like it was yesterday.
A big thank you to all our listeners and to the people who’ve left us reviews and ratings on iTunes — it makes a huge difference. And thanks to Jerome, our podcast editor, you’re a star!
Anyway, you know what we’ve discovered over these 100 eps? Podcasting is alive and well and it is a very POWERFUL marketing tool. Here’s why…
Podcasting is excellent for:
– growing your email list.
– getting good visibility on the iTunes search engine
– connecting with influencers in your industry
– uncovering joint venture opportunities
– getting invited on popular podcasts as a guest
– improving your public speaking
– allowing your subscribers to hear a new side to your personality
I am also very excited to say that I will be giving a keynote presentation where I share the secrets from what I’ve learned.
It’ll be at the first podcasting conference in the southern hemisphere and it’s called WeArePodcast. It’s on Saturday and Sunday, the 7th and 8th November on the sunny Gold Coast in Australia. Check it out.
Join fellow Aussie podcasters Valerie Khoo, Andrew Griffiths, Timbo Reid, Trevor Young, Nathan Chan and several more.
Early bird tickets are $259 + GST and they are only available for a limited time. (only 2 more days for early bird pricing…)
When you decide to book… please reply and let me know as I want to organise a special meetup for Bluewire News readers at the networking party. I’d love to meet in person and hear what you’re up to.
Why do I encourage you to attend?
Having run events ourselves I know how much effort goes into them and I can tell you that at this price, for these speakers and the content they’ll share it should a total no-brainer.
Plus, the real ROI from attending conferences is the people you meet. There’s nothing like an actual event to make new connections, put faces to Twitter handles and see old friends. Personally, I’d love to meet you and introduce you to fellow Bluewire News readers. We’ll have a little party, it’ll be fun!
If podcasting is on your radar or you have one already, please come along. You’ll meet some of Australia’s best podcasters for the one day that they come out from behind their mics and get together in the one place. You’ll meet potential podcast guests and get the low down on what everyone’s up to.
See you there. Secure your place >>
Finally you might like to check out my interview with the conference organiser himself Ronsley Vaz on Ep 19 of We Are Podcast. Ronsley is the man when it comes to podcasts and the guy to thank for organising this inaugural event!
Cheers,
Adam
