Hey, how’s it going?

Toby and I are constantly learning more about you and fellow readers and students in our Bluewire community.  From recent conversations we’ve had, we’re discovering more of you are stepping out of corporate roles and into your own business or side ventures, often online.

This has been a fascinating revelation for us!

So today we want to share some special free business training from 3 people we’ve learnt a lot from over the years.

Meet Tony Hsieh and Jenn Lim

You’ve probably heard of Zappos.com, the online shoe store turned retail juggernaut. Tony Hsieh started the company and it was acquired by Amazon for whopping $1.2B a few years back.

Toby and I have geeked out on Zappos over the years because they have been the true leaders when it comes to the impact of ‘culture’.

Long time readers will know that we flew to Las Vegas in 2012… not to spin the roulette wheel or play blackjack but rather to do the Zappos office tour.  True story. Zappos are world renowned for their culture and are known as one of the best places to work.

We also met Tony Hseih and Jenn Lim when they came out to Australia for the first time for their Delivering Happiness book tour later that year.

Tony and Jenn have now released some free video training for you.  I watched it myself and highly recommend it if you run a business or manage a team.

Meet Ramit Sethi

For many years we’ve followed Ramit Sethi’s business and blog and have been awestruck at his success. As you know we study and try to emulate the people we admire and learn the most from.

So earlier this year Toby enrolled in Ramit’s online program called Zero To Launch, designed to help us create profitable online courses.

However when this program was first released, we mistakenly thought that we were too advanced for it because we’d already launched a few online courses ourselves. How wrong we were!  It was very misguided and arrogant of us to think we couldn’t learn more from someone who has helped millions of readers via his blog and has 25,000+ paying students for his online education.

So we slapped ourselves around and reminded ourselves that we always need to be learning from the very best in the world. Ramit Sethi fits that bill; he’s a New York Times bestselling author and was featured in Fortune magazine alongside Warren Buffet.

Ramit has a free downloadable guide for you called, “30 Successful Online Business Ideas.”

This PDF is perfect if you’re looking to start an online biz or create an online program where you can share your knowledge, teach others and earn revenue at the same time.

Creating our own online courses has added a whole new dimension (and freedom) to our business at Bluewire.
