Tuesday and Wednesday this week were like a business improvement bootcamp!

Adam and I went along to another great Verne Harnish Rockefeller Habits event put on by The Growth Faculty on Tuesday and sat next to Derek Hodge, a TEC (The Executive Connection) Group Chair.

With a full day of Verne under our belts and sharing ideas, Derek invited me to join him the next day for a TEC presentation by Marcus Child (@digitalmarcus) titled “Leading an Engaged Culture”.

What a cracking few hours! Marcus was incredibly energetic as a presenter with great practical ideas around leadership and staff engagement, not to mention some incredible results to report.…

Ten weeks after starting at Bluewire Media and I am starting to feel like I have some clue about the crazy world of web. If you asked my colleagues they would still call me a rank amateur but in my head I am moving ahead in leaps and bounds.

I have always been an avid user of the web, but understanding the nuts and bolts about how it actually functions was as foreign as an alien language. A handy new Mobile Friendly site ‘Takes Off’ at Brisbane Airport

The first of a few mobile projects in the pipeline for BAC here at Bluewire Media, has officially launched or “taken off” if you can excuse the pun. Quietly tonight, while the usual busy Brisbane Airport slows down just a tad, the launch button on their new Mobile Optimised Website was pushed.

We’re pretty of proud of this project here at Bluewire and if you’re anything like me I think you’ll agree this will be a very handy addition to the online presence of Brisbane Airport. How many times have you been sitting in the domestic terminal pick up area, getting those glaring looks from security guards, just wishing you knew when your partners plane was landing??…
