Quiet - the power of introverts in a world that can't stop talking book cover

Updated on February 25th, 2013

Have you ever lingered in the bathroom at a social event to take a few extra minutes to re-gather yourself?

Have you ever found that working alone was much more productive?

Or, on the flip side, that working alone was much less productive?

I can definitely answer “Yes” to all three.

If you’re looking to understand why you answered these questions the way you did, then “Quiet – The Power of Introverts in a World That Can’t Stop Talking” might help.

Scorecards for Topgrading

Ahhhh. A new book and new best practice ideas to implement. Thanks so much to Geoff Smart and Randy Street authors of “Who: The A method for hiring”, for sharing their insights to allow us to embark upon our own Scorecards for Topgrading.

So. To enable businesses to hire 90% A Players, “Who” sets out a 4 step process to implement the Topgrading hiring methodology:

  2. Source
  3. Select
  4. Sell

So we started on the Scorecard and in this post I wanted to share a surprising benefit, what a Scorecard is, why use a Scorecard, how we created our scorecards and an example Scorecard.…

Vine App Bondi

What is Vine App

It an App released by Twitter that allows you to record 6 second videos on your phone and then post them to Twitter and Facebook.

How to use Vine App

To film your short video, all you need to do is press your finger against the screen and release when you want it to stop. You can easily piece together your video!

There are heaps of potential ways to share six second videos with your friends via Vine.

Ways to market using Vine

We’re still figuring out all the possibilities but some Vine videos we’ve filmed so far are:

A sneak peek of Bluewire’s new website
Working on team scorecards
Icebergs 6am swim training
Adam’s first Vine video of Bondi Beach
A John Lennon quote on a board

It’s just like Twitter or Instagram but for videos.…

Andrew Griffiths

Updated on February 8th, 2013

Andrew Griffiths has written 11 books in 11 years and most have been best sellers.

When Andrew spoke at the Key Person of Influence event on the weekend he explained why we need to write a book, what we need to do to become an author, and how to be a best selling author.
