It’s been an action packed few days in the US. It started with a mastermind in St Louis, a few days in New York and now I’m writing to you from Princeton University.
My key takeaways from the mastermind are here, (and I’ll report back on the rest of the trip shortly).
Facebook Messenger: Messages sent via the ManyChat bot tool are best once per week. Open rates and click through rates are still astronomically high —-even though they’ve dropped about 10-20% as people’s lists have grown in size and as more people use the platform for marketing.
That said, the content that performs the best is purely educational and nothing salesy.
In fact, messenger bots are also being used effectively for weekly accountability with students or coaching clients.
Mindset: This is something I’ve been a lot more conscious of especially since the Flow Retreat two weeks ago. One of the mindset experts in the group left me with these ideas:
“Do it for the thrill of it — not for the money. And surrender to the thrill.”
“Expect to be lucky!”
Community: One of the biggest take-homes for me is the power of community. Firstly, this Bluewire News email is a great group of roughly 30,000 subscribers.
I love interacting with you 1-on-1 when you write back. But I’ve also realised this doesn’t facilitate readers getting to know each other… which is why I’ve opened up my to all Bluewire News subscribers who answer the 3 entry questions.
— my ‘100 videos in 100 days’ challenge is all there too, but I’m just a bit behind on posting the latest since I’ve been travelling.
One thing I learnt that I’ll be more conscious to implement is appointing members within the community as experts on certain topics. Tapping into the collective knowledge is a big opportunity!
Same deal for my private coaching program. There is tremendous value in having a peer group to learn from and share knowledge with.
In fact, our next private Client Intensive is 10-11th July in Brisbane. I occasionally open it up prospective clients if there are extra seats available and if you are a good fit. There is a reasonable cost attached, but the value is accordingly high. If this appeals, please reply with “I’m Interested”.
