There’s a cool new LinkedIn tool I discovered on Monday — just after I’d welcomed another wave of students into my course.
It gives you a score out of 100 based on your effectiveness on LinkedIn in the past 24 hours. It looks at how you build your profile, find prospects, connect with people and build relationships.
It’s wonderful because it’s updated daily so you can track your progress, or correct a lapse!
Did I mention it’s free?
Today my score is 76 / 100.
The free report told me I’d not posted content on LinkedIn for a while (tut, tut) — in fact it had been about a month… so with that timely prompt (…aka kick up the backside), I recorded a short 2 minute video on my iPhone and posted it to LinkedIn.
Effective reminder, right?
My video took < 5 mins to shoot, < 5 mins to edit and < 5 mins to upload to LinkedIn.
Now people all over the world are watching it. More importantly I’m back in my regular routine — thanks to this tool.
Anyway, I’ll check-in tomorrow and see if my score has increased!
