So what holds us back?
A few common things.
I have hundreds of Zoom calls and emails with coaching clients, prospects and graduates, and the obstacle is usually:
- I don’t know what to say to people on LinkedIn
- I just don’t want to be inauthentic and connect with people just to sell them something.
- I’ve been spammed and I refuse to be one of those people!
- I’m worried about putting myself out there.
- I don’t know the technical side of LinkedIn.
- I don’t want to do the wrong thing.
- I’m nervous about sales conversations.
This is perfectly normal to feel at the start.
I totally understand – it’s human nature.
What do we normally do next?
Well if we’re gripped by the fear or discomfort of not knowing what to say or do, we retreat to the sidelines of LinkedIn — with the 99% of lurkers.
We wait in vain for clients to knock on our door. Sadly this can be a long, and fruitless waiting game.
You might be the industry’s best kept secret but waiting on sidelines rarely works.
You need to be part of the 1% who are active.
That involves being prepared to introduce yourself, ask questions, take initiative and help people.
I know you do this in real life, so why not on LinkedIn?
Imagine walking into a real-life room full of ideal prospects.
We’d be pretty comfortable meeting new people and introducing ourself, right?
We’d engage in conversations right off the bat and we’d be human!
Yet on LinkedIn it’s common to connect with someone, and then not say anything for 5 to 10 years, if ever!
Can you imagine waiting that long in real life?
Think of the lost opportunities — all because of the minor obstacle of not knowing what to say or do next.
I don’t want you to miss these opportunities but I appreciate it needs to be done in a way that sits comfortably with you.
That’s why I’ve created a brand new course to remove those obstacles and allow you to:
- navigate LinkedIn,
- build authority and
- grow your coaching/consulting business.
You don’t need to wonder what to do or say anymore.
Plus, I promise my approach will sit comfortably with you. Hundreds of clients have customised an approach that works for them.
There are gentle approaches and more pro-active approaches but definitely one to suit your personality.
