It’s over on and on .
Coaching clients often ask: “Where can I find some quick wins on LinkedIn?”
And the answer to that question is nearly always: “find the low hanging fruit in your existing network, and reach out to them and start a conversation.”
Two of the best places to start are:
1. Run a LinkedIn Search for ideal clients according to “role” “geography” and “1st degree connection”. This will produce a report of the people in your existing network who could easily become your next client.
2. Export all of your LinkedIn Connections to a spreadsheet, and run your eye over all the names, roles and companies to see who fits the bill as being an ideal future client. This ‘export feature’ is a free service on LinkedIn and takes less than 10 minutes. Although these days the export does not include email addresses by default.
When you take action today, you can be hearing back from ideal prospects by tomorrow!
