Creating our first piece of flagship content, the ~OptIn_28~ was the best marketing decision we made. When it was published nearly a decade ago, people from all over the globe started downloading it.
This opened up a whole new world of the possibilities, literally. Rather than just serving clients in Brisbane and Sydney we had interest from clients in dozens of countries.
This was a real turning point for Bluewire because prospects (and clients) could begin to know, like and trust us long before we met in real life, and we could be adding value to people at scale. Most importantly, it differentiated us, and since the template was genuinely valuable it led directly to new business, even our first $100k client.
It garnered attention, like being written about in Forbes and in the bestselling book The New Rules of Marketing & PR, which was ‘nice to have’ but the fact it helped us win high-value clients was the most exciting.
Bear in mind we “did the work” to create the template back in 2010 and now, nearly a decade on, it is still “working for us”.
Every day people are downloading it, and it is being used in organisations like companies and universities all over the world.
