Firstly, if you’re Australian, then today you may be getting back to work after yesterday’s Melbourne Cup — it’s the race that stops the nation down under! The horse I backed was ‘Bondi Beach’ however it it didn’t place. How did you go?

I spent the day hanging out with Toby — it was fun and I’ll tell you more about that at the bottom of the email.

On to marketing related matters….. when I survey Bluewire News readers like you, the thing most people say the crave is more leads. It makes sense because we all have businesses, products and services that can serve our clients really well.

Ok, back to the Melbourne Cup yesterday…. whilst my Instagram feed was full of people enjoying the big race at many amazing locations, I spent the day with Toby implementing a couple of projects we’ll share with you very shortly.

Back in 2012, we had the opportunity to go to Flemington and even hold the Cup itself!

This year, it was far less glamorous. We live streamed the race on Twitter and watched it on my iPhone at Sushi Train on the Gold Coast ;-)
