With the “IKEA Facebook showroom” campaign receiving some good viral exposure & deserved accolades, I wanted to draw attention to a local example of effective viral marketing using facebook & send to a friend.

Using a simple app on their website & harnessing free social website, facebook.com, Aussie music festival “Good Vibrations” has launched a brilliant marketing campaign to promote its 2010 festivals.

The strategy is simple: GVF Yourself & win.

4. Post on the wall of the Good Vibrations Festival facebook page

Not sure I'd be the best poster boy but I gave it a go!
