Hi, it’s Adam Franklin here and I’ll be giving a presentation called ‘Creating Emails for Maximum Attention at EMSA’  – the Email Marketing Summit of Australia and its coming up in Sydney in a few weeks time.

What can people learn from your presentation?

I sent my very first email marketing campaign in 2006 and I learnt two very brutal truths. One is how easy it is to stuff things up and secondly how few people actually read your email. Since that time I’ve learnt that a 40 or 50 % open rate isn’t actually that bad and that quite a few people have been interested in our newsletters. What I’ll be sharing in the presentation is what I’ve learnt over that time, because I’ve seen and made most of the mistakes possible and I’ll be sharing what I’ve learnt so you don’t have to go through the learning curve yourself.
