The Ultimate Grammar Cheat Sheet for Content Marketers [Infographic]
We could all use a grammar lesson every once in a while…
Especially if you are writing a LOT of content and hoping to turn that content into customers online. Small grammatical errors can deteriorate the perception of your brand and quickly take you off the map of potential buyers.
I stumbled across this really cool infographic from urbanest – a student accommodation website in the UK.
It breaks down all of the common mistakes people make when it comes to grammar and the English language.
Things like; “Your” vs. “You’re”… and “They’re” vs “There” vs “Their” … and “It’s” vs “Its”
One of my favourite parts of the graphic is when it hits the “affect” vs “effect” debate head on and debunks some common myths about spelling and punctuation.
If you’ve ever been bothered by these little ticks that can overpower your writing, I’d recommend checking out this infographic.
Think you’ve got perfect grammar?
You may do, but I write content for a living and regularly pick up bad habits that need to be pointed out to me.
So maybe it’s not such a bad idea doing a grammar refresh every now and then!
