Hey guys, it’s Adam here, over in Perth. You can see behind me the Nedlands Yacht Club.
Anyway, one of my tips for when you are travelling, and I’m down here for the Easter long weekend, very long weekend, is to LinkedIn to actually look up potential business contacts in the city that you’re visiting.
With a very simple search, you can actually type in the city that you’re visiting. For me, now, it’s Perth, and you can see the first degree contacts that you’ve got in that particular city. You can look for them and see if there’s any of those people you’d like to reach out to and have a coffee with or even just to give them a courtesy email to say that you’re in their neck of the woods and would they be interested in catching up.
So, use LinkedIn when you’re travelling, if you’ve got time of course, to look up contacts you might be able to connect with.
All right. There’s a bit going on here. I’ll talk to you later.
