What’s your social networking success story?

Tweet

We’re passionate advocates of using social networking for business marketing and delight in sharing success stories that began at a tweet, a Facebook discussion, a YouTube clip or a blog post.

Remember our interview with David Meerman Scott?  The one where he blogged about General Motors and ended up landing a meeting with the CEO?

Amazing right?

On a much smaller scale many of us are continually experiencing the benefits of social networking. A personal success story of mine unfolded a couple of weeks ago…

I’m currently enrolled in a music blogging course as part of my journalism degree at QUT (yep, blogging has hit the curriculum).…

Tweet! Tweet! – A Little Bird Told Me…

Adam spoke on Social Media Marketing for Events at the ACEB conference on Wednesday & after presenting the benefits a delegate asked –

“But what if people at your event tweet criticisms? Wouldn’t that be reason to stay away from Twitter at events?”

As Adam answered, the challenge here is to do your utmost to give people an experience they want to say good things about!

That’s the great thing about Twitter – transparency.…

What Grade does your Twitter, Blog, Website & Copy get?

Tweet

I haven’t had a report card since school days, but I came across these ‘Grader’ tools which essentially rate your marketing effectiveness.  I was curious to see how we fared…

Blog Grader: supposedly judges your blog according to length of posts, frequency of posts, reading time per post, but it was a bit difficult to make sense of the results.  …

It’s been five years since Adam & Toby set up shop on their parents’ back deck with a laptop & phone (& some overzealous crows for company!).

Since then, Bluewire Media has grown in leaps & bounds, becoming one of Brisbane’s leading web design agencies and servicing over 200 Queensland & interstate companies.

On Thursday evening we headed down to the Chalk Hotel & entertained by Luttsy, celebrated turning five in the company of our friends, clients & colleagues.

Thanks to everyone who came along & special thanks to those who donated such fantastic prizes for our raffle.…
